I’ll miss the In Colors™ that Stampin’ Up© just retired, but I am liking some of the new collection for 2025-2027 cycle, especially the Cloud Cover and Strawberry Slush (a returning color). I haven’t picked a favorite yet from the coordinating collection of cardstock, Designer Series Paper (DSP)™, markers/blends & inks, but Secret Sea makes a beautiful card base and, of course, coordinates well with the other colors in the collection.
That being said, I put together this card using all of the new In Colors to display a quick and practical method of using the colors together on one card. I also love the names of the colors: Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush (returning color) and Timid Tiger.
The card fold is an accordion style CASED from the SU 2024-2025 Annual Catalog (at top of page #121) and is included in the SU 2024-25 sample recipes. The sample recipe measurements for this card fold is defined for 12×12 cardstock, but thanks to SU demonstrator, Julie Davis, I has able to obtain the scoring measurements to accommodate 8½x11 cardstock: Card base, 5½x11″ and score at 4, 4¼ and 9¾ inches; inside panels are 1×5¼, 2½x5¼ (2) including the white panel (cut to same measurements) to stamp or write a message, and 4×5¼ for the last (back) panel. On the outside front panel, no extra layer is applied, but I added a small die cut and stamped sentiment.
This image displays the card standing up to show the accordion style. The die cuts are from AROUND IT ALL DIES (164725) and the sentiments are from AROUND IT ALL Stamp Set (164719) which can also be purchased as a bundle (164726) and ROUND WE GO (163724) stamp set. I stamped the sentiments using SECRET SEA Classic Stampin’ Pad (165285).
